Another 16 per cent are planning on investing in property in the near future.== Kitchener Waterloo Real Estate == Forty-three per cent of those who said they intended to invest in the next two years were under the age of 40, Re/Max said. The most sought-after investments indicated by those surveyed were: house - 41%, multiple-unit building - 35%, condo - 24%. Just about 18 per cent of respondents indicated that real estate represented more than 51 per cent of their total investment portfolio. The attractiveness of real estate as an investment has been driven by rapidly increasing prices over the last few years. But people planning on getting into the market to cash in on the boom may have missed the wave.
