For years now, the video store was the way to get movies. The next generation it seems will be getting their movies from movie downloads, avoiding any trips to the store. Just about any movie every made can be attained through a movie download site now. Check out these samples.
Alien 3: Ellen Ripley and her surviving friends are flying through space after battling the Aliens. They crash land on a desolate planet that has a prison colony as the inhabitants. Unfortunately, an alien has stowed away on the ship, and is now loose on this new world.
Cry of The Penguins: Will a womanizing youthful biologist find real cheerfulness and redemption amid an Antarctic colony of penguins? Do you care? Famed documentary filmmaker Amy Dorff shot the intriguing however atrocious scenes of life and mortality amid a penguin colony. Cast includes John Hurt, Harvey Factories, Dudley Sutton, Tony Britton, Thorny Walters, and Judy Campbell. (101 minutes, 1971)
Pulp Fiction: This is Quentin Tarantino’s masterpiece work. The story weaves around four separate, yet intertwined events. There was an accidental killing, the crime bosses wife’s overdose, the boxer who didn’t throw the fight, and pair of small time crooks trying to rob a restaurant.
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King: The capital of Gondor is under attack, and the battle for Middle Earth is on. Sauron, the dark one, is gaining power, and his victory seems certain. Gandalf and the other fight on with the only hope lying in the efforts of two little Hobbits. Frodo, and his lifelong friend Sam are battling their way to Mount Doom in order to destroy the One Ring, the ring that give Sauron his great power. Their success or failure will determine the fate of Middle Earth.
The X-Files: FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully hit the big screen in the first X-Files movie. Investigating the bombing of an office building in Dallas, the two agents are drawn into an even greater mystery. It eventually leads them to an alien plan to colonize the planet, and the U.S. government is somehow involved.
Follow the Fleet: Admirable musical with sai;or Astaire and Scott courting siblings Rogers and Hilliard. Irving Berlin melodies contain “Let’s Face the Music and Dance,” “Let Yourself Go,” “We Noticed the Ocean.” A revising of Beach Leave, a 1925 Richard Barthelmess flick, and the 1930 film Hit the Deck. That’s Lucille Ball as Cat. Cast includes Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Randolph Scott, Harriet Hilliard Nelson, Astrid AlIwyn, and Betty Grable. (110 minutes, 1936)
Jack’s Back: Umpteenth retelling of the Jack The Ripper legend is updated to modern day L.A. where youthful physician Spader is the #1 suspect. Prostitutes are slaughtered in grisly style one hundred years to the night after Bloody Jack’s legendary offenses. The twist midway through is preposterous. Cast includes James Spader, Cynthia Gibb, Pole Loomis, Rex Ryon, Robert Picardo, Chris Mulkey, and Dauitza Kingsley. (97 minutes, 1988)
Titanic: It is the maiden voyage of the spectacular new ship. People are excited to make the voyage from England to New York. The Titanic is deemed unsinkable, but then the unthinkable happens, and the ship starts sinking into the Atlantic.
Metropolis: A private investigator and his nephew track a suspect to the futuristic Metropolis, meet a bizarre gal who is really an extremely commanding android, and decipher a message sent by a rebel forces leader who plans to take over the city. This is an amazing Japanese animated movie. It is written by Katsuhiro Otomo Akira, based on a visual novel by Osamu Tezuka called Astro Boy. Rich backdrops balance with cartoon looking lead characters, although dramatic storytelling and commanding visuals defeat film’s shortcomings. Cast includes Kei Kobayashi, Kohki Okada, Taro Ishida, and Kousei Tomita. (106 minutes, 2001)
To find downloads for music or games, try phrases like “Movies To Download”. When one search fails to succeed just change things and try again. See if “Latest Movies” gets a better result.

Bob Sinclar Downloads It’s expensive for movie stores to keep movies in stock that don’t get rented often. Be warned though, it’s not a movie that is for kids under the age of 14 though.
